How to prepare for your session

Be sure to fill out the Senior Pre-Session Questionnaire so that I can get to know you and your style and prepare for a personalized session that best represents you!

Top tips:

Don’t wait until the last minute to schedule your session!

Practice your smile and poses so it comes natural for the big day.

Get plenty of rest the night before.

Try on your outfits ahead of time to ensure they fit correctly.

Feel free to send me inspiration photos via FB, email, or text so that we can dial down your style and your look.

What to wear?

Make sure to wear outfits that make you feel and look great but most of all are comfortable!

Consider the following outfits:

Casual (1)
Dressy (1)
Something that best shows the "Real You" (1)
Uniform – Sport or Activity of Choice (if applicable)

Be wary of the following:

Bright white or neon colors
Shirts with logos, big pictures, or print
Wild patterns that are distracting and take away from you
Make sure outfits are free of wrinkles, stains, or rips/holes

What to bring to the shoot?

Your outfits on hangers to prevent wrinkles
Water to stay hydrated
Mirror for last minute glances
Make-up for touch-ups
A friend or parent, someone who makes you feel comfortable and can also bring out a real, genuine smile!

Don’t forget the details!

The smallest things can stick out in photos, so remember those little details.

Have fresh nails. This goes for guys too! Make sure your nails are clean or that you have a fresh coat of paint! Toes too!
Ladies wearing make-up keep it clean and natural.
As for the hair - do not try anything new the day before or day of your shoot. Give a new haircut some time to get used to.
Guys make sure you are shaved up, or bearded and ready.

Adding your own special touch makes your photos even more unique!

Hobby equipment, i.e. skateboards, bikes, books, art supplies, etc

Sports Equipment, i.e. baseball bat, glove, ball, volleyball, basketball, football, uniform, etc.
