ABOUT ME

My name is Samantha and I'm from a small town in Northern Ohio - somewhere between Toledo and Cleveland. I am married to a wonderful man and have two beautiful children who are my greatest inspiration.

My enjoyment for photography started at a young age - always having multiple basic film cameras, digital cameras as they started coming out, an SLR camera, and eventually a couple of DSLR cameras. 

I had a couple of brief jobs in the photography field a few years back - I had photographed race cars at the starting line and a local race track, and had worked as a portrait photographer at Sears Portrait Studio. After that, though, I had taken a break from photography.

It wasn't until a bad experience at a Walmart Portrait Studio when my daughter was born that I decided that I wanted to start taking photos again. I had decided to purchase my first Nikon camera to be able to capture my family's special moments in life. After a short time, friends and family had started asking me to photograph their families and events.

Photography is not a job for me, and it's not just a hobby, it's a passion. It's something that makes me happy and I enjoy. I love the ability to capture a special moment in time to be able to cherish for years to come.
